What I hope to accomplish through HCC: As the social chair in HCC, my goal is to connect Honors College students with other organizations on campus, such as athletics, scholars programs, and departments they may not be familiar with. In our current online environment, it has become more difficult to connect with individuals outside of the programs we’re currently in. Many of us share a common concern of feeling isolated from the larger community. I plan to gauge my peers’ interests, network with other organizations, and work together to create opportunities where we can meet new people and create new relationships. I am excited to be a part of HCC and can’t wait for what the rest of the fall semester has in store!
